MUARA, Tuesday, 29 April 2025 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) recently carried out a post-Ramadhan mosque and surau cleaning campaign at several places across the Brunei-Muara District. The initiative, held one month after the conclusion of the holy month of Ramadhan 1446H, reflects RBN’s continued outreach to the public and its commitment to service beyond defence.

This campaign is part of a nationwide effort to uphold the cleanliness of religious facilities following the month of fasting.

RBN personnel from various departments, including the RBN Headquarters, Fleet Headquarters, Base Headquarters, Naval Training Centre and Support Services Headquarters, took part in the activities.

The cleaning efforts were conducted at Masjid Rancangan Perumahan Negara Kampong Panchor Mengkubau, Masjid Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah in Kampong Bolkiah, Balai Ibadat Mukim Saba, Balai Ibadat Kampong Peramu, and Balai Ibadat Kampong Sungai Pandan.

Activities began with congregational prayers and safety briefings, followed by coordinated cleaning of both interior and exterior areas of the mosques and prayer halls.

This initiative highlights the Royal Brunei Navy’s ongoing dedication to supporting national values, promoting cleanliness, and strengthening community ties through meaningful outreach efforts.
