Bandar Seri Begawan, Tuesday, 27 May 2025 – In conjunction with the 64th Anniversary celebration of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held a recitation of Surah Yassin and Tahlil function this morning at the Royal Mausoleum, Jalan Tutong.
The recitation was dedicated to the late parents of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Muhammad Jamalul Alam and Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Bendahara Pengiran Anak Abdul Rahman as well as to His Majesty’s late son, Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji ‘Abdul ‘Azim.
Present at the function was Captain Sahibul Bahari bin Haji Zainal Abidin, RBN, Commander of RBN, as well as other members of the RBN Board of Executives, senior officers, officers and RBN personnel.
The religious function commenced with the recitation of Surah Yassin and Tahlil, led by Yang Mulia Lieutenant (U) Haji Syasuandi bin Haji Abu Bakar from the RBAF Religious Directorate (JAMA'AT), and concluded with the Doa Allah Peliharakan Sultan dan Brunei Darussalam.
