Serasa Water Sports Complex, Friday, 16 May 2025 – The Certificate Presentation and Closing Ceremony for the Junior Non-Commissioned Officers’ (JNCOs) Leadership Course Series 02/2025 was held at the multipurpose room of the Serasa Water Sports Complex. The event was graced by the Assistant Chief of Staff Intelligence and Security, Lieutenant Commander Wan Abdul Naafi bin Metussin, RBN, who attended as the Guest of Honour.
The Leadership and Management of the Naval Training School, Naval Training Centre, Royal Brunei Navy, conducted the Junior Non-Commissioned Officers’ (JNCOs) Leadership Course over a five-week period. The course commenced on Friday, 11 April 2025, and concluded on Friday, 16 May 2025. A total of twenty-five (25) participants successfully completed the course.
This mandatory course was aimed to develop leadership qualities and enhance professionalism among Junior Non-Commissioned Officers, ensuring they are well-equipped to lead effectively and execute their task with competence.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, led by 53159 Able Rate Mohammad Asyri bin Abdul Ghafar, RBN. This was followed by a speech from the course representative, 22049 Able Rate Nur Adlin Fadhlina binti Nor Muhammadi, RBN, who expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the trainers and shared her experiences throughout the course.
Subsequently, the Guest of Honour presented certificates to all course participants. 53155 Able Rate Muhammad Muizzuddin bin Rosmalee, RBN, was awarded for achieving the Overall Highest Score in the course. The event concluded with a prayer, a performance by the course participants, and a group photo session.
