THE ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY FLEET HEADQUARTERS HELD A PROMOTION CEREMONY FOR 64 PERSONNEL

MUARA, FRIDAY, 30 JANUARY 2026 – The Royal Brunei Navy Fleet Headquarters held a promotion ceremony for sixty-four (64) of its personnel at Samudera Hall, Royal Brunei Navy. The ceremony was officiated by the Guest of Honour, Captain Sonny Iskandar bin Rasani, RBN. A total of twenty-two (22) personnel were promoted to the rank of Chief Petty Officer, nineteen (19) to Petty Officer, twelve (12) to Leading Hand, and eleven (11) to Able Rate.





NTC HELD HANDOVER CEREMONY TO WELCOME THE 5TH COMMANDANT NAVAL TRAINING
MUARA, FRIDAY, 30 JANUARY 2026 – The Naval Training Centre (NTC) held a handover ceremony today between the outgoing Commandant Naval Training, Captain Mohammad Faizal Ezam bin Haji Abas, RBN, and the incoming Commandant Naval Training, Commander Hj Edy Jofren bin PDP Dato Paduka Hj Abd Jalil, RBN, at the NTC Grand Entrance.




RBN HELD TWO PROMOTION CEREMONIES FOR BASE DEPARTMENT AND RBN HEADQUARTERS PERSONNEL

MUARA, Thursday, 29 January 2026 - Two promotion ceremonies were held today in recognition of the dedication and service of personnel from the Base Department and the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) Headquarters, during which a total of twenty-four (24) personnel were promoted.





ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY FLEET PARADE SETS THE STANDARD FOR DISCIPLINE AND BEARING

MUARA, WEDNESDAY, 28 JANUARY 2026 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) Fleet conducted its first Fleet Parade of the year, bringing together fleet personnel as part of its continued commitment to upholding discipline, professional bearing, and high service standards across the force.






CELEBRATING NEW BEGINNINGS: BAKTI RBN VISITS MEMBERS WELCOMING THEIR FIRSTBORNS

BRUNEI-MUARA, SUNDAY, 25 JANUARY 2026 - The Wives’ Welfare Body (BAKTI) of the Royal Brunei Navy visited four members over the weekend who recently welcomed their firstborn baby, as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen family ties and foster appreciation within the RBN community. The visit was led by Mrs Haniwati binti Hj Bakar, wife of the Commander of the RBN, and was accompanied by other BAKTI members.​
