DOA KESYUKURAN CEREMONY HELD IN SURAU AL-HUDA IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE 57th ANNIVERSARY OF THE ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY

MUARA, Monday, 13 June 2022 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), today, held the Doa Kesyukuran ceremony to mark the 57th Anniversary of the RBN at Surau Al-Huda, Muara Naval Base. First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Spry bin Haji Serudi @ Haji Seruji, Commander RBN was the most senior officer in attendance along with the RBN Executive Board, officers and ratings of the RBN.

The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah An-Nisa, verses 58-63 by Warrant Officer 1 Aliudin bin Hj Sarbini of RBN's Support Services. The ceremony proceeded with mass Maghrib prayers led by Imam Faidil Rosemady bin Mohammad, and continued with mass Sunat Hajat Prayers, recitation of Surah Yassin, Tahlil, a Doa Kesyukuran before ending the ceremony with mass Isya' prayers.

The Doa Kesyukuran ceremony was held to seek the continued blessings from Allah SWT for the success of the organisation in defending Brunei's sovereignty and territorial integrity in the maritime domain and upholding the constitution and the Malay Islamic Monarchy philosophy.
