MUARA NAVAL BASE, Friday, 29 November 2024 – KDB DARULAMAN and KDB SYAFAAT have successfully completed the 18-day Round-Borneo deployment. The ships were received by Acting Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), Captain Khairil bin Haji Abdul Rahman, RBN, during a homecoming ceremony. The deployed officers and crew disembarked the ships and performed sujud syukur to express gratitude to Allah SWT for their safe return. The ceremony continued with Doa Selamat and Doa Kesyukuran.
Led by Commander Ade Roddiane bin Haji Mohd Rosdi, RBN, Commanding Officer of KDB DARULAMAN, and Lieutenant Commander Nazurah binti Haji Mahaleh, RBN, Commanding Officer of KDB SYAFAAT, both ships demonstrated their operational capabilities where the 2 ships first sailed south westerly headed to Surabaya for Exercise Helang Laut 21B/2024 with Tentara Nasional Indonesia - Angkatan Laut (TNI-AL). Following after the exercise, both ships sailed through east of Borneo heading north of Sabah, where they passed through the Sulu Sea before arriving in Brunei yesterday.
This deployment underscores the RBN's commitment to maintaining a modern, capable, and professional force.
