Singapore, Thursday, 14 November 2024 - Commander Pg Mohd Faren bin Pg Mohd Noor, RBN has successfully completed the renowned Senior Fellowship Program for Senior Leaders at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (SF6 LKYSPP), National University of Singapore. This distinguished five-week programme provided in-depth learning on leadership, public sector governance, international security, and digital transformation, equipping participants with advanced insights to contribute to Brunei’s defence and nation-building efforts.
The programme featured a comprehensive curriculum, enriched by sessions with global leaders such as Singapore’s Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong. These engagements offered unparalleled perspectives on navigating complex governance challenges and fostering strategic resilience. Alongside site visits and collaborative discussions, he had the opportunity to explore practical strategies for addressing evolving global and regional dynamics.
The insights and skills gained will support initiatives in digital resilience, cybersecurity, sustainable defence practices, and inter-agency cooperation, contributing to the Royal Brunei Armed Forces’ mission and Brunei’s broader vision of security and prosperity. He is the third Royal Brunei Navy fellow to participate in this programme thus far.
