MUARA, FRIDAY, 22 NOVEMBER 2024 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) Base Department celebrated the conversion to Islam of Ordinary Rate Mohd Shafiee bin Hamdan. Ordinary Rate Mohd Shafiee embraced Islam on 30th August 2024 at the Islamic Da'wah Centre, Brunei-Muara District. His formal conversion ceremony was held on 15th November 2024 at his parents’ residence in Kampong Pengkalan Dong, Tutong District.
In attendance during the event was Commander Mohd Nazrin bin Haji Sabli, RBN, Commanding Officer Base as well as officers and other ratings of Base department.
The RBN expressed its hopes that he remains steadfast in his faith and is blessed with strength and guidance as he leads a life filled with blessings.
