Naval Training Centre, 12 July 2024 – The closing ceremony and certificate presentation for Basic Above Water Warfare, Above Water Tactical and Marine Signaller course 2024 was held at Nakhoda Ragam Hall, Naval Training Centre.
26 Basic course participants including 03 Marine Police participants, have successfully completed their respective courses. Present to deliver the certificates was Yang Mulia Lieutenant Commander Shahbillellah Ikhwan bin Haji Ramlee, Commanding Officer Fleet Tactical Squadron.
The following courses are mandatory for RBN personnel. The Basic Above Water Warfare course provides warfare knowledge while the Basic Marine Signalers course develops communication skills and knowledge of radio characteristics on ships. And the Basic Above Water Tactical course equips participants with essential navigation skills, including the use of publications, understanding tides and tidal streams, and chart work, preparing them to become skilled Navigators
The closing ceremony concluded with a recitation of the closing doa and a group photo session featuring invited guests and instructors.
