BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Tuesday, 14 May 2024 – The Royal Brunei Navy paid a visit to the Royal Mausoleum to recite the Surah Yassin and Tahlil for the late Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Muhammad Jamalul Alam, Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Bendahara Pengiran Anak Abd Rahman, and Al-Marhum Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Paduka Seri Pengiran Muda Haji 'Abdul 'Azim Ibni Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah.
The recitation of Surah Yassin and Tahlil function was in conjunction with the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) 63rd Anniversary. Present at the function was Captain Khairil bin Haji Abdul Rahman, RBN, the Acting Commander of RBN. Also present were RBN Executive Board members, Senior Officers, Officers, and RBN personnel.
The ceremony commenced with the mass recitation of Surah Yassin and Tahlil. It concluded with the recital of doa led by Captain Muhd Nasyrul Wafiy bin Hj Mahdini, RBAF Religious Directorate (JAMA’AT).
