MUARA NAVAL BASE, Friday, 30 August 2024 – Empowering our personnel with essential skills, the Royal Brunei Navy proudly celebrates the successful completion of an essential course on Penyempurnaan Jenazah (rites for the deceased) today. Held from 26 to 30 August at Surau Al-Huda, the event saw Yang Mulia 1014 Lt Kdr Haji Marjidi Bin Hj Abdul Rahman, RBN, present the completion certificates.
Led by WO2 Haji Johary bin Haji Mohd Salleh from the RBAF Religious Directorate (JAMA'AT), the course equipped 25 RBN personnel with vital skills for managing funeral rites and supporting their implementation. This training marks a significant step towards improving the RBAF's personnel readiness and understanding in handling Islamic funeral arrangements, strengthening the overall capability in funeral management within the armed forces.
