SURAU AL-HUDA, FRIDAY, 6 SEPTEMBER 2024 - The Ministry of Defence held a Khatam Al-Qur'an function in conjunction with His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's 78th birthday celebration for 1446 Hijrah / 2024 Masehi.
The event, graced by the presence of the Honourable Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Retired) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, took place at Surau Al-Huda, Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) on the morning of Friday, 6 September 2024, yesterday. Similar functions were also held simultaneously at all Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) suraus and Pulau Baru-Baru Mosque.
