MUARA NAVAL BASE, Friday, 26 April 2024 - In the spirit of Hari Raya, the Royal Brunei Navy hosted the Hari Raya Aidil Fitri Open Office Celebration. The event was held in several locations within the Muara Naval Base, allowing Royal Brunei Navy officers and personnel to visit each other's departments.
The departments took turns visiting each other, commencing with the RBN Headquarters, the RBN Fleet and Jetty Bravo on Thursday afternoon. Following that on Friday afternoon, the session continues with Jetty Alpha, the Naval Training Centre and lastly the Base Headquarters.
Present as the Guest of Honor during the Hari Raya Aidil Fitri Open Office Celebration was Captain Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, the Acting Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy. Also present were the RBN Executive Board Members.
The celebration of Hari Raya Aidil Fitri Open Office was brimming with the essence of camaraderie, tradition, generosity, and mutual respect among civilian and military personnel. It provided an opportunity to strengthen relationships, understanding, and unity within the workplace community.
As the Acting Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy and his entourage made their arrival, the relevant departments extended a warm greeting while enjoying mouth-watering food, which was followed by a photo session. Ustaz Muhammad Sabqi bin Nasar, RBN Religious Officer, blessed the gathering with a doa.
During the event, the RBN Executive Board members seized the opportunity to strengthen naval esprit de corps by mingling with RBN officers, personnel, and civilians.
