MUARA NAVAL BASE, Wednesday, 28 June 2023 - Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) celebrated the Hari Raya 'Aidiladha with
Takbir Raya and Sunnat Hari Raya 'Aidiladha prayer the following morning at Surau Al-Huda, Muara Naval Base. The ceremony was attended by Captain Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, RBN Acting Commander, members of the RBN Executive Board, officers and ratings of the RBN who performed mass Isyak prayer followed by the recitations of
Takbir Hari Raya Aidiladha.
The recitations of
Takbir Hari Raya Aidiladha continued the following morning of
Hari Raya Aidiladha followed by a Solat Sunnat
Hari Raya Aidiladha where a sermon was delivered at Surau Al-Huda, RBN on Thursday, 29 June 2023. The ceremony was attended by Commander Ali Mustafa bin Haji Umar, RBN Acting Commandant Support Services, officers and ratings of the RBN. The sermon delivered reminded the congregation on the virtues of patience and sacrifice and that the trials and tribulations Allah SWT gives to his servants are not meant to weaken but strengthen our faithfulness and piety.
As a sign of immense gratitude towards Allah SWT, the recitations of the takbir raya will commence on from the 10th day of Zulhijjah until the end of the
Tasyrik days which falls on 13th day of Zulhijjah.
