MUARA NAVY BASE, Thursday, 5 December 2024 – A group of twenty-eight (28) students and supervisors from the Institute of Brunei Technical Education Campus Jefri Bolkiah recently visited the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) for an educational tour. The visit commenced at the Bendahara Sakam Meeting Room, Naval Training Centre (NTC), where Lieutenant Commander Shahbillellah Ikhwan bin Haji Ramlee, RBN, together with personnel from the Human Resource Cell, warmly welcomed the group. He delivered an opening address, followed by a comprehensive briefing on career opportunities, roles, and responsibilities within the RBN.
The program also featured a visit to the Kastila Simulation Room, where students had the opportunity to explore the equipment used for simulating onboard ship experiences. They were given the chance to try on the equipment and engage in hands-on activities. The visit concluded with a tour of the KDB DARULEHSAN ship, where the group explored the ship’s bridge, flight deck, forecastle, and RHIC deck.
The educational visit provided the students with valuable insight into RBN’s assets and operations, allowing them to interact with RBN personnel. The group concluded their visit with a memorable group photo in front of the KDB DARULEHSAN ship.
