ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY | Friday, 6th June 2025 - A Handover Ceremony for the President Mess Committee (PMC) of the Senior Rates’ Mess, Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), was held at the Senior Rates' Mess, RBN. The event marked the formal transition of leadership within the Senior Rates’ Mess PMC.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Lieutenant Commander Dk Lyadia Ulandari Binti Pg Hj Muhamad, Officer in Charge of the Senior Rates’ Mess, RBN. The ceremony’s key highlight was the official signing of the Handover Certificate between the outgoing PMC, Warrant Officer 1 Fauzillahrahime Bin Haji Awg Damit, and the incoming PMC, Warrant Officer 1 Mohammad Ariwan Bin Mohammad.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah by 50003 Petty Officer Muhammad Hanis Hilmi Bin Pawii, followed by a farewell address from the outgoing PMC. In his speech, he extended his gratitude to the 2024–2025 committee for their dedication and professionalism in successfully executing numerous high-profile events and ceremonial functions, both within the RBN and across Royal Brunei Armed Forces messes.
In his inaugural address, the incoming PMC called upon the new committee for 2025–2026 to carry out their responsibilities with integrity, commitment, and unity. The ceremony concluded with the recitation of a closing prayer.
