Muara Naval Base, Tuesday, 22 April 2025 – Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohd Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, Deputy Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), conducted a working visit to the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) yesterday.
Upon arrival, the Deputy Commander RBAF was received by Captain Sahibul Bahari bin Haji Zainal Abidin, RBN, Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy.
The visit commenced with a briefing at RBN Headquarters, where the Deputy Commander was presented with an overview of RBN’s achievements, ongoing developments, and future directions.
The working visit continued with tours to key operational facilities within the RBN, including Synchrolift Bravo and the Full Mission Bridge Simulator at the Naval Training Centre, Royal Brunei Navy.
These engagements provided an opportunity for RBN to transparently highlight its operational matters, capabilities, and the challenges faced in striving for operational excellence.
Following the engagements, the Deputy Commander performed the Zohor prayer alongside RBN personnel at Surau Al-Huda.
The programme then proceeded to the Officers’ Mess for a luncheon hosted by the Commander RBN, attended by officers of the Royal Brunei Navy.
