MUARA NAVAL BASE, FRIDAY, 07 MARCH 2025 - In conjunction with Brunei Darussalam’s 41st National Day, the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) organized a Khatam Al-Quran ceremony at Surau Al-Huda, Muara Naval Base. Present as the Guest of Honor was Captain Sahibul Bahari bin Haji Zainal Abidin, RBN, Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy, as well as members of the RBN Executive Board, officers, and personnels of the RBN.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by the recitation of selected 'Surah' from the Al-Quran, Takhtim Al-Quran, Tahlil, Doa Khatam, Dzikir Marhaban, 'Doa Peliharakan Sultan Dan Negara Brunei Darussalam', Hajat prayer, Dhuha prayer, and concluded with Selawat Qiam, Tasbih Kafarah, and 'Doa Memohon Keampunan bagi Kedua Ibubapa'.
The Khatam Al-Quran ceremony is a revered tradition that underscores RBN’s and the Ministry of Defence’s dedication to preserving Islamic values while nurturing spiritual growth among its personnel.
