This engagement underscores the longstanding defence relations between Brunei Darussalam and the Republic of Indonesia, reaffirming both navies' commitment to enhancing maritime cooperation and regional security.

The meeting commenced with opening remarks from both Co-Chairs, who underscored the significance of the NWG as a vital platform for continuous engagements, facilitating the exchange of insights and the planning of cooperative initiatives for the year ahead.
