Muara Naval Base, Tuesday, 15 October 2024 - A total of 83 personnel from the Ministry of Religious Affairs, comprising 54 participants and 29 instructors, participated in the Prayer Workshop (Bengkel Kesempurnaan Sembahyang), which was held at KDB DARULAMAN on Tuesday, 15 October 2024.

The workshop is in conjunction with the national celebration of Isra' and Mi'raj for the year 1445 Hijrah. It is organized by the various department of the Ministry of Religious Affairs. One of the objectives of the workshop is to raise awareness about the importance of performing prayers correctly, regardless of location, while also learning and refining the procedures for ablution (wudhu) for travelers and the method of prayer while traveling. This is in line with the theme of the national Isra' and Mi'raj celebration for the year 1445 Hijrah, "Prayer: The Pillar of Religion" (Sembahyang Tiang Ugama).

During the workshop, the participants were taught on the theory and procedure of conducting ablution and prayers while travelling onboard a ship.

The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) played a pivotal role in supporting the conduct of the workshop by providing logistical assistance and ensuring seamless coordination between other government ministry. This initiative reflects the RBN's broader dedication to supporting national events and promoting cooperation across ministries to achieve common goals, further enhancing the capacity for national development and spiritual enrichment.
