Bolkiah Garrison, Friday, 04 October 2024 – With the consent of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, a promotion ceremony was held at the Bolkiah Garrison Officers’ Mess.
Commander Muhamad Azrin bin Haji Mahmud, RBN, Chief of Staff of the Royal Brunei Navy, and Commander Haji Norbahrin bin Muamad, RBN, Head of the Inspectorate Cell, Royal Brunei Navy, were both promoted to the rank of Substantive Captain, RBN. Additionally, Lieutenant Commander Ak Khairul Anwar bin Pg Haji Abu Bakar, RBN, Commanding Officer of KDB Al-Farruq, was promoted to the rank of Acting Commander, RBN.
