MUARA NAVAL BASE, Friday, 24 May 2024 - The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) successfully hosted the finals of the Football Championship and Tug-of-War at the Naval Training Centre. In the Football Championship, Armada 'A' claimed the gold medals, with Armada 'B' as the runner-up and Pangkalan ‘A’ in third place.

In the Tug-of-War competition, Armada ‘A’ secured first place in the Lightweight category, followed by the Naval Training Centre (NTC) and RBN Headquarters. In the Heavyweight category, RBN Headquarters emerged as the winner, with Armada ‘A’ and Armada ‘B’ in second and third place, respectively.

The prizes were presented by the guest of honor, Captain Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, Acting Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy. Top Scorer was awarded to 53142 Able Rate Md Zharfan bin Zohar, and 51520 Leading Hand Md Nadzri bin Hj Erwan was recognized as the Best Overall Player.

 The event was attended by members of the RBN Executive Board, officers, and ratings of the RBN, aimed at strengthening bonds among RBN personnel and promoting sportsmanship among the players.
