MUARA, Friday, May 10th, 2024 – The closing ceremony and certificate presentation for the Advanced Marine & Weapon Course M1 2024 was held at Nakhoda Hall, Naval Training Centre (NTC). Present as the Guest of Honour was Lieutenant Commander Mohammad Khairul Anuar Bin Abdullah, Head Naval System.
The 14 weeks course was organized by the Maritime Technical School from 2nd February to 10th May 2024, and was participated in by 19 Leading Hands, including 4 female navy personnel. This mandatory course aims to train and enhance the professionalism of Leading Hands, ensuring they become competent leaders capable of executing tasks on board ships in marine and weapon engineering.
The event proceeded with a speech by the course representative, 18533 Leading Hand Mohammad Khadzul Azwarde bin Wahid. In his speech, he expressed his gratitude and shared his experiences throughout the course. He emphasized the importance of lifelong learning and striving to make positive changes for future generations.
Following the course representative’s speech, the Guest of Honour delivered a speech and presented the course participants with their certificates of completion. The event concluded with the recitation of a doa and a group photo session.
