ACTING COMMANDER RBN GRACED PASSING OUT PARADE CEREMONY FOR THE ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES MALE RECRUITS OF THE 175TH INTAKE AND FEMALE RECRUITS OF THE 59TH INTAKE

PENANJONG GARRISON, 20 December 2024 – The Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (TI RBAF) commemorated the successful completion of Basic Military Training for 124 male recruits of the 175th Intake and 46 female recruits of the 59th Intake. The ceremony, held at the Parade Square, Penanjong Garrison, was graced by Yang Mulia Captain Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin Bin Matserudin, RBN, Acting Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy, as the Guest of Honour.


The event began with a parade inspection, followed by his speech praising the recruits for their dedication and resilience throughout the training. In his speech, he emphasised discipline, professionalism, and readiness, reminding the recruits of their vital role in defending Brunei Darussalam’s sovereignty and peace.

Outstanding recruits and instructors were recognised for their achievements, with awards presented to those who excelled in various categories. The ceremony concluded with a doa led by Captain Abdul Mu’iz Azizi bin Zulkifli from the RBAF Religious Directorate.

Captain Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin Bin Matserudin, RBN, Acting Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy, highlighted the significance of the occasion, marking the recruits' transformation into disciplined servicemen and servicewomen ready to serve the nation with pride and dedication.​
