MUARA NAVAL BASE, Thursday, 4 April 2022 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) commenced the opening of a Tadarus Al-Qur’an session in conjunction with the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) 63rd-anniversary celebration at Surau Al-Huda, Naval Muara Base.
RBN Senior Officer present was Commander Azrin bin Haji Mahmud, RBN, Chief of Staff. Also in attendance were officers, and personnel of the RBN. The RBN Chief of Staff officiated the function followed with the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar, Surah Al-Fatihah, and reading of Surah Al-Baqarah. Taking the opportunity of the gathering, the event also included with a Tazkirah delivered by Ustaz Mohammad Sabqi bin Nasar.
The event concluded with the recitation of 'Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam', Tasbih Kaffarah, and the Do’a Memohon Keampunan Untuk Ibubapa. The function aims to instil the spirit of reciting and appreciating the Al-Qur’an among RBN personnel and animate the spirit of the RBAF’s 63rd-anniversary celebration.
