MUARA, Monday, 22 April 2024 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) marked the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) 62nd anniversary with a blood donation campaign held at the Warrant Officers', Chief Petty Officers', and Petty Officers' Mess. This initiative underscores the RBN's dedication to not only national security but also to enhancing community welfare. The event, which saw the participation of 55 personnel, aims to foster unity and compassion among citizens while addressing the critical need for blood supplies in hospitals nationwide.

This collaborative effort between the RBAF and the Blood Bank at Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital, Ministry of Health, encourages military personnel to contribute to voluntary blood donations. By commemorating the Armed Forces' 62 years of resilience and dedication, this campaign highlights their ongoing commitment to impact society's well-being positively.

The blood donation campaign includes multiple centres across the RBAF, operating with extended hours to accommodate donors' schedules. In addition to saving lives, participants can learn more about the RBAF's role and history, fostering a stronger connection between the armed forces and the community.

This campaign reflects the RBN's unwavering support for humanitarian efforts and its integral role in serving the nation in defence and community service.
