Muara, Brunei Darussalam, 01 April 2024 – In the spirit of Hari Raya Aidilfitri, the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) hosted a special Sumbangan Khas presentation ceremony for its junior rating personnel at Samudera Hall, Muara Naval Base. This initiative reflects the RBN's dedication to supporting the well-being of its personnel, particularly those in need, as they prepare for the upcoming festivities.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of Guest of Honour, Captain Haji Mohd Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, the Acting Commander of the RBN. Members of the RBN's executive board were also present to lend their support.
Following a recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, Captain Haji Mohd Sarif Pudin personally presented Sumbangan Khas to thirteen deserving recipients. These packages, designed to ease the financial burden of celebrating Hari Raya, will benefit not only the junior ratings but also their families.
The ceremony concluded with a closing prayer, fostering a sense of camaraderie and shared purpose within the RBN family.
