KIARONG, Friday, 29 March 2024 - Following the earlier story regarding the cleaning campaign and recitation activities at Tanah Perkuburan Kg Salambigar, the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) Support Services Headquarters (SSHQ) also conducted similar activities at Tanah Perkuburan Islam Masjid Jame’ Asr on the same day.
This campaign aligns with the annual Ihya Ramadhan Program organized by the RBN (1445H/2024M). The focus at Tanah Perkuburan Islam Masjid Jame’ Asr was led by Captain Hj Nor Ariwwin bin Hj Mohd Ali, RBN, Commandant Support Services, along with other officers and personnel present to pay their respects. Also in attendance were the family members of the departed RBN Personnel.
As with the Kg Salambigar event, the activity commenced with a cleaning campaign followed by the recitation of Surah Yassin, Tahlil, and Doa Arwah for the departed RBN personnel.
The RBN's participation in these activities highlights their commitment to charitable endeavors during Ramadan. These visits to cemeteries and cleaning campaigns serve to foster spiritual growth and collaboration among RBN personnel while also promoting a spirit of service and societal contribution.
