KAMPONG BATU APOI AND PEKAN BANGAR, Tuesday, 26 March 2024– The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) conducted the 'Jangkauan Ramadhan' outreach programme to the Kampong Batu Apoi Mosque and Mohammad Salleh Utama Mosque, Pekan Bangar this evening.
Present to lead the RBN delegation was Captain Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, Acting Commander RBN. The RBN delegation also consisted of members of the Senior Officers, Officers and Ratings of the RBN Headquarters and Base Headquarters.
The function began with the recitation of Tahlil followed by the presentation of donations to the asnaf and orphans residing in Kampong Batu Apoi. This was followed with the break of fast and mass Maghrib Prayers before Iftar meals with the asnaf and orphans of Kg. Batu Apoi present at the function.
Acting Commander RBN and delegation then proceed to Mohammad Salleh Utama Mosque, Pekan Bangar to perform Mass Isyak prayers, Tarawih, Witir and the recital of the Holy Al-Quran as contiuation of the Outreach Programme that evening to Temburong District.
The function was held to enliven and intensify acts of worship and religious activities throughout the month of Ramadhan.
