MUARA NAVAL BASE, Monday, 29 May 2022 – Colonel Stewart Taylor, Defence Advisor of Canada Accredited to Brunei Darussalam conducted a courtesy call to Acting Commander RBN, Captain Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, RBN.
During the call, Acting Commander RBN took the opportunity to express gratitude and appreciation to Colonel Stewart Taylor for all the cooperation and support accorded to RBN and the RBAF during his tenure which he has held since July 2021. He also highlighted the valuable relations between Brunei and Canada paving the way to more opportunities to develop bilateral relations between RBN and the Royal Canadian Navy through platforms such as the Maritime Security Challenges Conference 2022 attended by the RBN.
Both sides conveyed delights and reaffirmed the importance of collaboration and defence cooperation are key to enhancing interoperability in striving towards a peaceful and stable region.
