DEPUTY MINISTER OF DEFENCE, BRUNEI INTRODUCTORY VISIT TO ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY

MUARA NAVAL BASE, Wednesday, 10 August 2022 – Yang Mulia Brigadier General (R) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Abdul Razak bin Haji Abdul Kadir, Deputy Minister of Defence, Brunei made his introductory visit to the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN).

Upon his arrival, the Deputy Minister of Defence was received by First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Spry bin Haji Serudi @ Haji Seruji, Commander of RBN as well as RBN Executive Board. The visit commenced with a brief presentation of the RBN by the Chief of Staff, RBN.

This was followed by a visit to several key areas in RBN, beginning with a visit to Muara Maritime Services (MMS), Shiplift Bravo, where MMS gave an introductory brief on their organizational structure and the support it provides to the RBN in maintaining and sustaining RBN's assets. This was followed by a ship visit onboard KDB DARUSSALAM where the Deputy Minister of Defence was briefed on the operational aspects of the RBN, a visit to the newly installed ground control station for the Unmanned Aerial System capability and observed a Sail Pass.

The visit continued at the Integrated Weapons Complex where an introductory brief of the facility was delivered before concluding the visit at the Officers' Mess.
