COMMANDER ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY RECEIVED VIRTUAL COURTESY CALL FROM THE OUTGOING AND INCOMING DEFENCE ATTACHÉ OF SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF VIET NAM IN BRUNEI DARUSSALAM

MUARA, Monday, 27 September 2021 – First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Spry bin Haji Serudi @ Haji Seruji, the Commander of Royal Brunei Navy, received a virtual courtesy call from Senior Colonel Nguyen Tien Son, the outgoing Defence Attaché of Socialist Republic of Viet Nam and Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Huan, the incoming Defence Attaché of Socialist Republic of Viet Nam to Brunei Darussalam at Bilik Pahlawan, Royal Brunei Navy Headquarters.

During the call, both sides reaffirmed the commitment to strengthen bilateral defence ties between both navies through various avenues such as professional exchanges, training and ship visits. Despite the limitations imposed by the global pandemic, both sides assured that bilateral relations will continue to thrive.

Commander of Royal Brunei Navy conveyed his appreciation to Senior Colonel Nguyen Tien Son for his contributions and hard work throughout his tenure, especially in strengthening relations between the two navies. The Commander of Royal Brunei Navy also congratulated Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Huan on his appointment and expressed hope that there will be more opportunities to work together in the near future.
