SERASA, THURSDAY, 27 NOVEMBER 2025 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held The Closing Ceremony and Certificate Presentation for the Qualifying Coxswain (QC) Course Session 2025 at the Multipurpose Hall, Serasa Water Sports Complex, Royal Brunei Navy (RBN). Present as the Guest of Honour was Yang Mulia Lieutenant Commander Mohd Arif Bin Haji Tajuddin, Commanding Officer of KDB BERKAT, Royal Brunei Navy (RBN).
The Qualifying Coxswain Course, which ran for 10 weeks, was attended by 12 participants and successfully completed. This course is one of the mandatory trainings required to meet the needs of Navigation and Armament positions within the TLDB. Its purpose is to enhance the participants’ knowledge, skills, and competencies, while preparing them to assume the role of Buffer (CBM) and to serve as Coxswains who are proficient in all aspects of ship handling and administration.
As a mark of blessing, the ceremony continued with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Petty Officer Ahmad Syukri Bin Haji Mohammad, followed by a group photo session, a speech from a course representative, and a speech from the Guest of Honour.
The event then proceeded with the presentation of certificates to the course participants. The award for Best Theory was presented to 19309 Petty Officer Abd Muiz Bin Jifri in recognition of his outstanding achievement and diligence during practical training. Meanwhile, 19373 Petty Officer Nazirul Rafiuddin Bin Awg Bungsu was named Best Practical and Best Overall, acknowledging his exceptional performance, high commitment, and excellence across all aspects of learning and course assessments. The ceremony continued with the presentation of a souvenir to the Guest of Honour.

MAJLIS PENYAMPAIAN SIJIL DAN PENUTUP BAGI KURSUS QUALIFYING COXSWAIN SESI TAHUN 2025
SERASA, KHAMIS, 27 NOVEMBER 2025 – Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei (TLDB) telah mengadakan Majlis Penutup dan Penyampaian Sijil Kursus Qualifying Coxswain Sesi 2025 bertempat di Bilik Serbaguna, Kompleks Sukan Air Serasa, TLDB. Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat adalah Yang Mulia Leftenan Komander Mohd Arif bin Haji Tajuddin, TLDB, Pegawai Pemerintah KDB BERKAT.
Kursus Qualifying Coxswain yang berlangsung selama 10 minggu ini disertai oleh 12 anggota dan telahberjalan dengan lancar. Kursus ini merupakan salah satu latihan wajib bagi memenuhi keperluan Jawatan Navigasi dan Persenjataan di dalam TLDB. Ia bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan, kemahiran dan kompetensi para peserta, di samping mempersiapkan mereka untuk menyandang jawatan sebagai Buffer (CBM) serta berperanan sebagai Juragan Kapal (Coxswain) yang mahir dalam semua aspek pengendalian dan pentadbiran kapal.
Bagi memberkati majlis, acara dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah yang dipimpin oleh Bintara Ahmad Syukri bin Haji Mohammad. Majlis kemudiannya diteruskan dengan sesi bergambar ramai, diikuti oleh ucapan daripada wakil ahli kursus serta ucapan Tetamu Kehormat.
Majlis seterusnya menyaksikan penyampaian sijil kepada para peserta Kursus Qualifying Coxswain. Bagi kategori prestasi, Penuntut Terbaik Amali dianugerahkan kepada 19309 Bintara Abd Muiz bin Jifri atas pencapaian cemerlang dalam semua mata pelajaran yang diajarkan. Sementara itu, 19373 Bintara Nazirul Rafiuddin bin Awg Bungsu telah dinobatkan sebagai Penuntut Terbaik Praktikal serta Penuntut Terbaik Keseluruhan, sebagai pengiktirafan terhadap prestasi unggul, komitmen tinggi, dan kecemerlangan beliau dalam semua aspek pembelajaran serta penilaian kursus. Majlis turut diserikandengan penyampaian cenderamata kepada Tetamu Kehormat Majlis.
