Muara Naval Base, Tuesday 25 March 2025 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held a Handover Ceremony to officially appoint 13521 Warrant Officer 1 Mohammad Nasri bin Ladis, RBN, as the new Sergeant Major of the Royal Brunei Navy (SMTL). The event took place at Dewan Samudera, Royal Brunei Navy.
Following the arrival of the Regimental Sergeant Major (RSM) and SMTL, along with their spouses, the ceremony commenced with Warrant Officer 1 Mohammad Nasri bin Ladis inspecting the Honour Guard Parade, which comprised Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs), Junior NCOs, and the Royal Brunei Navy Band.
To bless the occasion, the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah was led by Religious Teacher Ustadz Mas Isamandi bin Hassan, followed by a speech from the newly appointed SMTL. The event then proceeded with the signing of the Handover Certificate, the recitation of Doa Selamat, and concluded with a group photo session.
