Thursday, 13 February 2025 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) was honoured to welcome back Edward Ball, a former British Loan Service officer who served as a Dental Officer from 1987 to 1989. Returning after 36 years, he reminisced about his time in service and admired the remarkable growth and transformation of the RBN.
Adding to the significance of his visit, his son, Lieutenant Commander Harry Ball, now serves as a Dental Officer in the RBN, continuing his father’s legacy. This reunion highlights the enduring ties between the British Loan Service and the RBN, reinforcing a shared history of dedication and collaboration.
