MUARA, Friday, 27 December 2024 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) has distributed "Back to School" donations to identified personnel, comprising schoolbooks and stationery for their children, in anticipation of the new school term in Brunei. A total of 19 families benefited from the assistance.
Present to distribute the donations was Yang Mulia Captain Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, RBN, Acting Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy. Also present were senior officers, officers, and personnel from the Royal Brunei Navy.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, led by Ustaz Sabqi bin Nasar, Religious Teacher from the Royal Brunei Navy, followed by the presentation of donations to the recipients.
The aim of the donations is to ease the financial burden on the identified RBN personnel and their families, as part of the RBN's outreach programme and ongoing commitment to improving the general welfare of its personnel.
