SUBIC, PHILLIPINES- Lieutenant Siti Wanna and Lieutenant Junior Grade Nurharzelah from the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) joined their counterparts from 10 ASEAN nations for the 11th ASEAN Navy Young Officers Interaction (ANYOI) Programme held in the Philippines from 24-27 June 2024.
Themed "Empowering ASEAN Young Leaders for a Peaceful and Secure Maritime Region," the program fostered camaraderie and collaboration among future naval leaders. Participants toured Subic Bay, engaged in team-building activities, and visited Philippine naval vessels.
The ANYOI programme concluded with a certificate presentation by Rear Admiral Jose Ma Ambriosio Ezpeleta, the Chief of Naval Staff, Philippine Navy. ANYOI aims to strengthen regional ties and promote maritime cooperation within ASEAN.
