ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY HOSTS EDUCATIONAL VISIT FROM UNIVERSITY TECHNOLOGY BRUNEI ARMY CADETS

MUARA, Thursday, 27 June 2024 - The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) welcomed a group of 17 students and a teacher from the University Technology Brunei Army Cadets for an informative and engaging visit. 

The tour began at the Bendahara Sakam Meeting Room at the Naval Training Centre, where Lieutenant Commander Haji Marjidi bin Haji Abdul Rahman, RBN,  Officer Commanding Maritime Technical School, delivered the opening remarks and provided a brief overview of the roles and responsibilities within the RBN.

To further enhance their understanding of RBN operations, the group observed a demonstration by the boarding team from the Naval Surface Action Group (NAVSAG) at the hangar. After the demonstration, the students and teacher were invited on a ship tour onboard  KDB AFIAT. 

This visit helped them understand the navy's role in national security and maritime protection. A group photo marked the end of this successful interaction. The students expressed appreciation for the visit and their admiration for the RBN's dedication.​
