KG SALAMBIGAR, Friday, 29 March 2024 – Officers and personnel from the Support Services Headquarters (SSHQ) of the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) conducted a cleaning campaign and Recital of Surah Yassin and Tahlil at the Tanah Perkuburan Kg Salambigar in honour of departed RBN Personnel.
This annual event, organized by the RBN, is part of the Ihya Ramadhan Program 1445H/2024M. A total of 25 RBN personnel, including 3 officers, led by Lieutenant Commander Mohd Khairul Anuar bin Abdullah, RBN, Head of Naval System, attended the cemetery to pay their respects. Family members of the deceased were also present.
The activity commenced with the cleaning campaign, followed by the recitation of Surah Yassin and Tahlil for the late RBN personnel who passed away. Such initiatives serve to honor and remember those who have departed while also fostering camaraderie among personnel and promoting spiritual growth during the auspicious month of Ramadhan.
