MUARA, Tuesday, 27 February 2024 – The Certificate Presentation Ceremony and Closing Ceremony for the Junior Rates Leadership Course Series 01/2024 was held at Serasa Watermanship Complex, Royal Brunei Armed Forces. The guest of honour for the event was Lieutenant Mohamad Amirul Azwan bin Haji Dullah, RBN, Assistant Commanding Officer Sea Training Development. Also in attendance were Drill Sergeant Major, Head of Department, Senior Rank, PMC Marine's Club and instructors.
A total of 18 participants attended the course. The course was successfully conducted over five weeks from 19 January 2024 until 27 February 2024 under Leadership & Management, Sea Training School Naval Training Center, RBN. The leadership course aims to foster leadership qualities among the participants to produce efficient, responsive & effective Junior Rates by applying the core values of RBAF which are Piety, Loyalty, Courage and Professional. The Overall Best Student award was given to Able Rate Nor Hasimah binti Awang Ramli, RBN.
The closing ceremony concluded with a recitation of the 'Doa Selamat' by Able Rate Mohd Nasiruddin bin Nordin and a group photo session.
