JERUDONG, WEDNESDAY, 22 APRIL 2026 – The “Jasamu Dikenang” Appreciation Ceremony 2026 for Senior Ranks of the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), organised by the RBN Warrant Officers’ Mess Committee, was held at the Banquet Hall, BRIDEX Convention Centre.
The ceremony was organised to recognise the contributions, dedication, and years of service of both serving personnel and retired Senior Ranks of the RBN who have served the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) and the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF).
The event was graced by the Guest of Honour, First Admiral Sahibul Bahari bin Haji Zainal Abidin, Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy. Also in attendance were the Navy Sergeant Major of the Royal Brunei Navy, Senior Ranks personnel of the RBN, and invited retirees.
This year’s ceremony carried the theme “Distinguished Gentleman”, reflecting the values upheld by Senior Ranks personnel throughout their service in their contribution to the Royal Brunei Navy.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by a welcoming address by 13551 Warrant Officer 1 Mohamad Ariwan bin Mohamad, President of the Mess Committee (PMC), who expressed appreciation to both serving personnel and retirees for their service and sacrifices.
During the event, the newly appointed Mess Committee (PMC and DPMC) for the year 2026/2027 was also formally introduced. This transition reflects the continued responsibility of Senior Ranks personnel in upholding the standards and welfare of the Senior Rates' Mess, while building on the momentum set by the previous committee.
A key highlight of the evening was the presentation of tokens of appreciation to the retirees by the Guest of Honour, as a gesture of thanks for their years of service.
The “Jasamu Dikenang” ceremony reflects the Royal Brunei Navy’s continued effort to recognise its personnel and honour their service.

MAJLIS JASAMU DIKENANG 2026 HARGAI PENGORBANAN ANGGOTA PTB KANAN TLDB YANG SEDANG BERKHIDMAT DAN YANG SUDAH BERSARA
JERUDONG, RABU, 22 APRIL 2026 – Majlis “Malam Jasamu Dikenang” 2026 bagi anggota PTB Kanan Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei (TLDB), yang dianjurkan oleh Komiti Mes Pegawai Waran TLDB, telah diadakan di Dewan Bankuet, Pusat Konvensyen BRIDEX.
Majlis ini diadakan bagi mengiktiraf sumbangan serta dedikasi anggota yang sedang berkhidmat dan juga para pesara TLDB yang telah berkhidmat dalam Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei (TLDB) dan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB).
Majlis telah diserikan dengan kehadiran Tetamu Kehormat, Laksamana Pertama Sahibul Bahari bin Haji Zainal Abidin, Pemerintah Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei. Turut hadir ialah Sarjan Mejar Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei, anggota PTB kanan TLDB serta para pesara yang dijemput.
Majlis pada tahun ini membawa tema “Distinguished Gentleman” yang mencerminkan profesionalisme, disiplin serta nilai yang dipegang oleh anggota peringkat kanan sepanjang perkhidmatan mereka.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah, diikuti dengan ucapan alu-aluan oleh 13551 Pegawai Waran 1 Mohamad Ariwan bin Mohamad, Presiden Komiti Mes (PMC), yang menzahirkan penghargaan kepada anggota yang sedang berkhidmat dan para pesara atas jasa dan pengorbanan mereka.
Semasa majlis berlangsung, Komiti Mes baharu (PMC dan DPMC) bagi tahun 2026/2027 telah diperkenalkan secara rasmi. Peralihan ini mencerminkan tanggungjawab berterusan anggota PTB Kanan dalam memelihara standard dan kebajikan dalam Mes Pegawai Waran, di samping meneruskan usaha yang telah dilaksanakan oleh ahli jawatankuasa Mes terdahulu.
Antara acara utama semasa majlis dilangsungkan ialah penyampaian cenderahati kepada para pesara oleh Tetamu Kehormat sebagai tanda penghargaan atas perkhidmatan mereka. Majlis “Jasamu Dikenang” ini mencerminkan usaha berterusan TLDB dalam menghargai anggota dan mengenang jasa mereka.
