SINGAPORE, Saturday, 14 January 2023 – Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) Personnel undergoing training in the Republic of Singapore held a promotion ceremony for seven (7) RBN personnel. Presenting the ranks on behalf of the RBN to the promoted personnel was Lieutenant Commander Haji Mohammad Arnold bin Haji Osman, RBN. The ceremony was witnessed by the RBN officers and colleagues undergoing the training.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by the presentation of the insignias by the Guest of Honour and concluded with Doa Selamat. This day, three (3) personnel were promoted to the rank of Acting Petty Officer, one (1) was promoted to the rank of Leading Hand, two (2) were promoted to the rank of Able Rate, and one (1) was promoted to the rank of Acting Able Rate. The RBN congratulates those promoted today for their achievements and hopes that they continue striving, encourage and lead those around them for the betterment of the organisation.
