MUARA, Tuesday, 19 July 2022 – Yang Mulia Captain Haji Mohammad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, Acting Commander Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) received an introductory call from Senior Colonel Dai Qilin, Defence Attaché of the People's Republic of China to Brunei Darussalam. Also in attendance were Lieutenant Colonel Fan Xiawei, Assistant Defence Attaché, and the Chief of Staff, RBN.
During the call, both sides affirmed friendly bilateral relations between RBN and the People's Liberation Army – Navy (PLA-N) through interactions in multilateral events, as well as in bilateral settings including mutual port visits, exchange of high-level visits and invitations to seminars/workshops hosted by the PLA-N.
Acting Commander RBN welcomes Senior Colonel Dai Qilin to Brunei and looks forward to working closely to explore more avenues of cooperation in the future.
