MUARA, Thursday, 23 June 2022 – The Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) held a Khatam Al-Qur'an event in conjunction with the RBAF 61st Anniversary celebration at all Ministry of Defence and RBAF suraus, including Masjid Pulau Baru-Baru, with the focal event at Surau Al-Huda, Royal Brunei Naval Base, Muara.
In attendance were Major General Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of RBAF, Service Commanders, Joint Force Commander RBAF, Military Directors, Commandants, Senior Officers, officers as well as personnel of the RBAF.
The ceremony began with the recital of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah led by the Commander of RBAF, followed by the recitation of Al-Qur'an by the Khatam Al-Qur'an participants.
The event continued with Dikir Marhaban, presentation of tokens of appreciation to the participants and concluded with Fardhu Asar prayers.
