MUARA, Thursday, 16 June 2022 – Commodore Mal Wise, Commander of the Indo-Pacific Endeavour (IPE), Royal Australian Navy, conducted a courtesy call to Commander RBN, First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Spry bin Haji Serudi @ Seruji.
During the call, Commander RBN took the opportunity to express gratitude and appreciation to
Commodore Mal Wise for the continued contribution to bilateral relations between RBN and RAN through IPE which was last conducted in Brunei in September 2021. Commander RBN also recounted their last meeting during the RAN Sea Power Conference in May 2022 and highlighted the importance of IPE and valuable relations between Brunei and Australia paving the way to more opportunities to develop bilateral relations between RBN and RAN.
Both sides conveyed delights and affirmed commitments towards collaboration and defence cooperation as keys to enhancing interoperability in striving towards a peaceful and stable region.
