MUARA, Wednesday, 29 September 2021 – A religious lecture entitled “Prayer as the weapon of a believer” (Doa Senjata Mukmin) was held and delivered by Ustaz Mas Ismandi, RBN religious teacher. Virtually present to listen to the lecture was First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Spry bin Haji Serudi @ Haji Seruji, Commander of Royal Brunei Navy, along with senior officers, officers and personnel of RBN.
This week’s lecture focused on the topic of prayer, its importance in Islam as it is the essence of worship (ibadah) and its power to change circumstances. The programme is conducted as part of RBN’s efforts in exercising the Divine Vaccine (Vaksin Ketuhanan) which entails the reading of Zikir, doa or supplication, Al-Quran as a special defensive measure in seeking blessings from Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala in the fight against COVID-19, alongside abiding the guidelines set by the Ministry of Health.
