​MUARA, Friday, 4 June 2021 – Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held a promotion ceremony Series 4/20 for Warrant Officer 1, Warrant Officer 2 and Chief Petty Officers for a total of 46 personnel, of which 26 personnel are promoted to Substantive rank of Warrant Officer 2 (3) and Chief Petty Officers (32). Meanwhile, the remaining 20 are promoted to Acting Warrant Officer 1 (4), Acting Warrant Officer 2 (6) and Acting Chief Petty Officer (10). The ceremony was held at the Warrant Officers', Chief Petty Officers' and Petty Officers' Mess.

Present at the ceremony as the Guest of Honour was First Admiral Spry bin Haji Serudi @ Haji Seruji, Commander of Royal Brunei Navy. Also in attendance were members of the Royal Brunei Navy Executive Board (BETL), senior officers, officers, RBN personnel and family members of the promoted personnel.

The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by the presentation of the rank insignia by the Guest of Honour. The event concluded with a Doa Selamat and group photo.
