TEMBURONG, Sunday, 30 May 2021
– In commemoration of the 60th Anniversary Royal Brunei Armed Forced (RBAF), thanksgiving prayer was also held at Masjid Rancangan Perumahan Negara Kampong Rataie, Temburong organised by Royal Brunei Navy. The ceremony was chaired by 866 Lieutenant Commander Mohd Husaini bin Haji Mohd Sofian, RBN.
The Guest of Honour was Captain Haji Mohd Sarif Pudin bin Mat Serudin, Deputy Commander of RBN. Also, in attendance were Temburong Districts' YB Haji Emran bin Haji Sabtu Penghulu of Mukim Zone 2, Pengiran Muhd Ameer Mubarak bin Pengiran Haji Hasim Acting of District Officer, Haji Moslim bin Haji Salleh Acting Head Village of Rataie, Ustaz Ali Hassan bin Mohd Said Head of Religious Officer and DSP Haji Irham bin Haji Arshad Commanding Police Officer of Temburong district. Also present were Senior Officers, Officers, personnel from E Coy 1Bn RBLF and RBN as well as RBAF Military Cadets and Residents of RPN Kampong Rataie
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Anfal, verses 60 to 63 by 1436 Lt JG Muhammad Faez bin Haji Ahat, RBN and started with the mass Maghrib prayer followed by Sunat Hajat prayer, recitation of Surah Yaasin and Tahlil. After mass 'Isya prayer, the ceremony concluded with a special thanksgiving prayer led by Imam Raqib bin Haji Awang, Imam of Masjid Rancangan Perumahan Negara Kampong Rataie, Temburong.
The theme of this year's anniversary is Bersama Menjayakan Wawasan Negara.
