CHANGE OF COMMAND CEREMONY OF THE COMMANDANT OF SUPPORT SERVICES, ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY

MUARA, Friday, 22 January 2021 – The Royal Brunei Navy today held a ceremony for the change of command of the Commandant of Support Services, Royal Brunei Navy. Commander Haji Suhailee bin Pungut, took over the command from Captain Haji Mohammad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, as Commandant of Support Service Royal Brunei Navy. The ceremony was held at the Support Services Headquarters, Royal Brunei Navy.

The ceremony began with an honorary salute followed by inspection of the Guard of Honour, mounted by the Royal Brunei Navy Quartermaster Office, Military Transport Office, Logistics Department and Maintenance Department, commanded by Lieutenant Muhd Luqman bin Hj Abd Hamid, RBN.

The ceremony was officiated with the signing ceremony of the Certificates, which was held subsequently after the inspection of the Guard of Honour. In his farewell speech, Captain Haji Mohammad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin expressed his deepest gratitude towards the Support Services Departments and emphasized on the importance of the cooperation and unity between Support Services Departments, not only to fulfil the needs required to maintain the standards of the Royal Brunei Navy, but also to enhance the quality of supplies and services needed.

The ceremony then continued with the new Commandant of Support Services receiving the honorary salute and inspected the Guard of Honour, officiating the new duty placement. The ceremony ended with the newly appointed Commandant Support Services delivering his inaugural speech.
