MUARA, Monday, 12 October 2020 - The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held a Handover Ceremony between Captain Haji Mohammad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, the outgoing Acting Fleet Commander of RBN, with Commander Khairil bin Haji Abdul Rahman, the incoming Fleet Commander of RBN at Fleet Headquarters, Muara Naval Base.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by the signing of the Handing Over Certificate as well as the handing over of the 'Alpha Sword' between Captain Haji Mohammad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin and Commander Khairil bin Haji Abdul Rahman, which officially marks the handing over of the 27th Fleet Commander of RBN.
Also present to witness the ceremony were the Fleet Chief of Staff, Commanding Officers, head of departments, Fleet Staff and Coxwains.
The ceremony concluded with a closing
doa and a group photo session.
